Why are there No Commercials on On Patrol Live Tonight?
According to several social media users, the On Patrol: Live broadcast on Friday displayed a static screen every 10 minutes and didn't air any commercials. On Patrol: Live, which began airing in July 2022, follows police officers and sheriff's deputies in different cities across the United States for three hours. The show is a reboot of Live PD, which was canceled by A&E in 2020 amid protests against police brutality after the death of George Floyd. The series has been revamped by its producers, Big Fish Entertainment, and is now hosted by Dan Abrams, retired Tulsa Police Department Sgt. Sean “Sticks” Larkin, and Deputy Sheriff Curtis Wilson.
The show also features minute-by-minute analysis from a studio and provides local residents with a firsthand experience. Reelz has recently ordered 90 new episodes of On Patrol: Live, and the series will continue to air at least until January 2024.
